Sonigate uses two state-of-the-art ultrasonic distance sensors to reliably detect the presence of the artist, ensuring seamless operation. Even if one sensor becomes blocked or obstructed, the second sensor immediately maintains accurate proximity detection so the system continues to function without interruption.
Because the sensors operate in
ultrasonic frequencies and employ
robust signal processing, they are
immune to common radio and audio interference both on and off stage, providing consistent, noiseless detection that preserves the integrity of a live performance.
Always in control
You can adjust parameters directly in the Sonigate smartphone app — tweak proximity thresholds, choose between full-mute or 15dB reduction, and save as custom profiles. When your settings are ready, hold your phone briefly on the top of the Sonigate unit to send the settings via NFC; the device acknowledges the transfer with a quick LED confirmation and applies the new parameters instantly, so you’re ready to perform without complex menus.

Sonigate microphones stay current and eco-friendly because they get firmware updates that add features and fix bugs without replacing hardware. Over-the-air updates lengthen the product’s life, cut electronic waste, and keep performance and security strong.
